Talk Abstract:
With the digital revolution, edge analytics along with Artificial Intelligence (AI) have become important parts of our lives and are getting tremendous attention from academia, healthcare, industry, and governments, AI-powered edge computing provides powerful computation services and massive data acquisition at edge networks in an intelligent manner for autonomous decision-making, at a level that is impossible for individual human analysts. The Edge Artificial Intelligent provides the capability to self-learn from massive data, understand patterns, optimize, make predictions, and provide fresh insights to stakeholders of connected living for autonomous decisions with improved Quality of Services (QoS). Although edge computing is gradually being combined with AI, benefiting each other, the controversial question, which has been arising, is how they realize Intelligent Edge and Edge Intelligence. In this talk, we will discuss an overview of Edge Artificial Intelligent concepts and highlights some recent open problem in realizing Intelligent Edge as well as Edge Intelligence. Let’s see how they may change and facilitate the digital computing world as we know it.
